About Us

Hope Community Church is a culturally diverse family who have joined together where people of every age can experience God and get to know Him better. We meet each week with the express purpose of growing and connecting with one another and striving to lead others to Christ.

We look forward to meeting you soon as we have already prayed for you and know God has great things for your life!

Meet Our Pastors

Robert and Vicie Richardson are the Lead Pastors of Hope Community Church.

Pastor Robert had his first encounter with Jesus Christ after walking out of a bar in Fort Meyers Beach, Florida. It was at that time that he met a loving, grace giving God and his life was forever changed.

He returned to his home in Ohio, reconnected with Vicie and on a deal went to church for the first time so she would go out with him after. God had bigger plans and that night he received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and was Baptized in the Powerful Name of Jesus. They married in December of 1981. Their ministry began shortly thereafter. Eleven years later God made it possible for them to adopt two amazing daughters, Bethany and Holly. Bethany and her husband Randal work closely with them at HCC.

Today, now 40 years later, they are still loving Jesus, loving people and endeavoring to reach a community that need that same loving, grace giving God who changed their lives.

Core Beliefs

We are founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

We believe in the great commission and are endeavoring to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Way the Truth, and the Life. There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifested in flesh. He is both God and man. (See Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16.)

We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin.  Through baptism we identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38).

We are a Spirit-filled church, and we believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in other tongues (John 3:1-8; Acts 2:4; Acts 2:36-38).

We are a praying church. We are committed to being available to anyone who desires prayer.

We are a worshipping church. We express our worship to create an atmosphere for the presence of God.
